We recorded this using Manycam. I think it’s so cool. Luke watches himself on the screen and tries to figure out where those floating glasses and eyebrows are coming from. He gets pretty tickled sometimes. Here is a little clip of us playing.
We had another fun day at the sprinkler park. It’s a 30 minute walk from our house on the Lady Bird Lake hike and bike trail. We love to pack a picnic and hang out here on warm afternoons. Luke loves to run up and down the hills in the park. The sprinklers are great for getting a little wet and there are little wading pools he runs through. I love living in Austin. There are so many fun outdoor things to do and so many beautiful places.
Medical students in Hong Kong did a project on Transposition of the Great Arteries. We shared Luke’s story with the group for their project. Their presentation was wonderful and we are very proud to have been a part of it!
This pose just cracks me up. It sure looks like Luke is getting ready to give Zoey a big kick in the behind.
In reality Luke and Zoey were both winding up to run across the yard. They are so cute together. Zoey follows Luke around and nips at his heels. Luke picks up the ball and throws it for her over and over. They play so well together.
Luke had so much fun with little Molly. I set up a big spread in the back yard with the pool, bubbles, playdough, tents, bikes, toys, etc. Molly and her mom Ellen came over and hung with us. It was so nice to have some adult conversation while the kids were busy playing.
Molly is such a sweet girl. Look at her inviting arms bracing for a hug. Who could refuse that?
Luke thought, “what the heck, I’ll give you some sugar”
A split second later he decided that this was a little to mushy for him…. and he is off!
Luke is not much of a hugger so I was so happy to get a picture of him hugging another kid. Of course he held the hug for less than a second and then ran as far away as he could. It’s just lucky I’m fast with snapping the pictures!
